Politics is more like making a career because it gives you power and loads of money with no one to ask for. Because, you can become the government and you have the power to loot the people in the name of taxes and what not. So, it is natural to see politicians getting desperate about sitting in chairs of power and those who don’t have it feel like fish out of water. But I feel there is a line to be drawn somewhere for this greed.
This desperation towards power is making me desperately annoyed towards one man, the TDP head Chandrababu Naidu. I have been watching his speeches during his Padayatra and with each speech his frustration is displayed in a big way. When he said that congress party should be killed with ‘Kathhulu’ and ‘Kodavallu’ I fell off my chair. And before I could recover from that shock, he has come up with something else.
Chandrababu says his party members and workers should sell their assets and properties to save the party. Now, why will workers sell their homes? What was he thinking when he said this? For a party to succeed is it money or giving confidence to the people? It is high time Chandrababu should focus on how to develop faith among people, what is the logic in telling them to sell homes. What will happen to them if TDP loses elections? Will he go and give them his home?
It is one thing to seek power through a proper agenda and attacking the ruling party on their weaknesses but bringing in this kind of pressure on the poor voters is something unheard of and absolutely insane. And Chandrababu who has the credit of being called as hi-tech CM and a man who made a significant difference to our state is bringing shame upon himself by talking like this.

First remember, as you told he maintained. But just consider the budget limitations during his ruling. Today, AP receives the amount of 60k to 70k croces from ITsector. Is it not good enough that CBN was a great leader. First kindly understand the basics..
@Kumar – Unfortunately, it is people like you, who are blind – folded with Caste Chauvinism, and desperately try to enforce the laypersons in AP by projecting that Naidu is a leader…any person with basic common sense can say that Naidu was never a leader…just because he was one of the first people, who drived the IT sector in AP does not qualify him to become a leader…IT is not everything…in fact, it is nothing when compared to the core / major problems faced by the layperson of AP…Naidu and his supporters are the actual crooks, who have been continuously depriving the layperson of their fundamental right of ”social equality” ever since Sr. NTR established TDP since 1983…please read / view the following links once again by using your brain and common sense to properly understand what I meant before debating in favor of Naidu / TDP again:

@Seshusana…my point is simple…a true visionary is someone, who builds a political party based on firm foundation of principles, which are acceptable to ”all kinds of people” equally…VISION and IMPLEMENTATION will only follow principles….Telugu Desam Party is born out of hurt ego of a charishmatic film personality called NTR and have been backed up by Caste Chauvinists…which in turn is grabbed by an opportunist called Naidu…let me remind you that Naidu hasn’t built a party on his own from scratch…if he really a capable leader, he could have built the party on his own…Whichever political party, it may be (Cogress / TDP / YSR CP / Lok Satta etc), you cannot think of its long – term existence, if it cannot spell out its principles / values / mission and JUST creates its vision on fake models of IT, which caters to only 5 – 6 % of people, when the remaining 95 % are struggling for basic needs and striving for social equality…hence, my opinion is Naidu does not deserve to be called a Leader…and anyone, who has an iota of brain will accept my viewpoint…I guess you are trying to convince people based on Naidu’s administrative skills in IT sector only…
@kp…the video, which you saw was created by a bureaucrat in 2004, who is a staunch and hardcore fan of Naidu and who is interested only in the IT sector…he is not a responsible and unbiased citizen like P. Sainath, who is a Rural Reporter, and who has toured and researched all the rural remote areas of AP extensively, where the majority of people belonging to different social strata live…Controlling CORRUPTION is a national agenda, and we definitely need to tackle it in the long run (Implementation of AADHAAR Card by the present Congress Govt. is definitely the initial step in that direction)…however, the chronic disease, which need to be first dealt with and should be uprooted from the very root level is ”Social Inequality”, which is seeded, breeded and nurtured by Naidu and his Caste Chauvinistic supporters, just to stay in power…nowhere in the country will you come across such Social Inequalities as you see in AP…this is not to say that YSR and team was not corrupted…definitely they had their own lion share of the looted money…but the present Congress Govt (which is now devoid of YSR, YS Jagan and their corrupted team) is definitely promising…and I am 1000% sure that the EVEN development across all the regions in AP is now far far better than the period when Naidu or YSR families ruled…if there are still any gaps in the present administration, those are only the after – effects of Naidu and YSR rule from 1990s onwards…and not because of lack of commitment by the present Congress Govt…
